Parklife Festival returns to Manchester this summer for its 13th year running, with a staggering line up all electro-dance, pop, grime and hip hop fans will go crazy for! On the 10th and 11th June you can expect performances from headliners including The 1975, Aitch, The Prodigy, Fred Again and Little Simz. As well as appearances from Mimi Webb, Raye and LF System, talent that has recently been taking the music scene by storm. But it doesn’t stop there! Fan favourites Rudimental, Wilkinson and Gorgon City (among many others) will also be emerging across one of eight stages during the weekend. Fans attending will be absolutely spoilt for choice!
Known as the largest metropolitan music festival in the UK, Heaton Park has been home to the festival since 2012. Famous for its admirably diverse lineup there is something for everyone to enjoy; from soaking up the music to exploring the many entertainment and art installations, and of course not forgetting indulging in the various street food and bars on offer. Absorbing all that sure is going to make you hungry!
However it’s not all about the music and food, a special sentiment of Parklife is ‘The Community Fund’ which seeks to generate funds from attendees, tickets and auctions to support the local community and open spaces much like the venue Heaton Park. A socially conscious festival with an eclectic lineup for music lovers of all genres, what’s not to love!
